Engagement Manager
Bailey Hart is a boutique consulting firm built around focused teams, clear ownership, and direct client relationships. We’re looking for an Engagement Manager who can keep complex work moving without turning it into process theatre. This role is for someone who notices the small signals before they become big problems — slipping timelines, unclear owners, quiet stakeholders, and the suspicious phrase “we’ll circle back.”
You’ll work across multiple client engagements alongside senior consultants, partners, and analysts. You’ll be the person making sure the work is not only thoughtful, but actually moving.
The team is small enough that your judgment matters immediately. No hiding behind layers. No waiting three weeks for someone to approve common sense.
Keep engagements aligned, useful, and on track. You’ll make sure the right people know what is happening, the right decisions get made, and the work keeps moving from insight to implementation.
Your job is not to manage noise. It is to reduce it.
You’ll manage day-to-day engagement flow across timelines, meetings, deliverables, and client communication.
You’ll keep internal and client teams aligned on priorities, owners, and next steps.
You’ll spot risks early and raise them before they become expensive surprises.
You’ll help turn workshop outputs and strategic recommendations into practical delivery plans.
You’ll coordinate with consultants, analysts, and partners to keep quality high.
You’ll make sure client conversations are followed by clear decisions, not just polite summaries.
You’ll improve internal delivery systems as the firm grows.
4+ years in consulting, client delivery, project management, operations, or agency/account leadership.
Strong organizational judgment — you know what needs process and what just needs a decision.
Clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Comfort managing several moving parts without becoming the bottleneck yourself.
A calm, direct working style when priorities shift.
Bonus: you secretly enjoy cleaning up messy Notion pages, project trackers, and meeting notes.
