PART-TIME · FLEXIBLE LOCATION
Research Analyst
Bailey Hart helps leadership teams make better decisions during moments of growth, transition, and change. We’re looking for a Research Analyst who can find the signal inside messy information — markets, competitors, operations, customer behavior, internal documents, and the occasional spreadsheet nobody wants to open. This is a part-time role for someone curious, precise, and allergic to unsupported claims.
You’ll work with consultants and partners across client engagements. Your research will shape how we understand problems, frame recommendations, and support client decisions.
You will not be asked to “just gather some links.” We care about synthesis, not information hoarding.
Turn raw information into useful insight. You’ll help us understand the context around a client’s challenge and translate research into clear findings the team can actually use.
Good research here is not long. It is sharp.
You’ll conduct market, competitor, customer, and organizational research.
You’ll review documents, reports, websites, interviews, and internal materials to identify patterns.
You’ll summarize findings clearly and separate facts from assumptions.
You’ll build short research briefs that support client strategy and decision-making.
You’ll help prepare workshop materials, insight summaries, and supporting evidence.
You’ll flag weak arguments, missing context, and suspiciously convenient data.
You’ll support consultants with quick-turn research during active engagements.
Strong research and synthesis skills — academic, consulting, strategy, journalism, or analytical experience all count.
Excellent writing in clear, plain English.
Comfort working independently with ambiguous questions.
Attention to detail without disappearing into a 42-tab rabbit hole.
Basic confidence with spreadsheets, documents, and structured notes.
Curiosity about how companies grow, stall, reorganize, and make decisions.
